Ways to Give
Crown College is widely recognized as one of the finest Bible colleges in America. We have never accepted federal or state taxpayer funding for any purpose. The college continues with the help of private funding — including the gifts of friends — to meet annual expenses that are not covered by tuition revenue.
You can help to ensure that Crown College continues to pursue its mission for the generation to come by choosing to get involved or by looking for ways to give. We invite you to join with us in this vital task.
Donors who contribute on a regular basis to Crown College may wish to join a giving club. Giving club membership offers a number of benefits. Click here for more information.
- The Crusader Club - These individuals or organizations have provided the necessary funds for room, board, and tuition for one student for an academic year, an annual gift of $8,000.
- The President's Club - These committed individuals or organizations have made an annual gift of $1,000 to The Crown College Student Scholarship Fund.
- Friends of The Crown College - "A Dollar A Day" - Friends of The Crown College are individuals who support these young people in their training by making a monthly gift of $30 to The Crown College Student Scholarship Fund by automatic withdrawal.

- Give by phone. If you wish to contribute via credit card over the telephone, please call 1.877.ATCROWN. Contributions to Crown College are tax deductible to the full extent of the law. You will receive an official receipt via email. We sincerely thank you for your support of Crown College.
- Give by mail - Make your personal check, business check or money order payable to Crown College, and mail it to the address below.
Designating a gift
Just as there are many ways to give to Crown, there are many different purposes for which you may designate your gift, ranging from academic programs to building projects to establishing scholarships. The following list offers you a few suggestions:
- Student Scholarship Fund – This fund provides over one million dollars of aid annually to hardworking and deserving Crown College students. If you wish to set up a named scholarship with an annually donated gift and/or pledge or begin an endowed scholarship fund, please contact David Rosser, in the Office of Advancement, at 865.938.8186.
- Annual Fund – This is the College’s general operating fund that provides gift income over and above revenues received from tuition, student fees, etc. The Annual Fund supports numerous needs and programs, including merit- and need-based scholarships, professional development for faculty, etc.
- The Baptist Vision – This bimonthly magazine reaches over 50,000 individuals and churches on a bimonthly basis.
- Capital Gifts – Crown College’s physical plant is among the very best for colleges of its size. The Office of Advancement offers many room-naming opportunities for both existing and future buildings.
- Special Projects – From time to time the Office of Advancement is called upon to raise funds for worthy projects and missions embarked upon by the College. These projects include the Lee Roberson Christian Heritage Center, etc.

Memorial Gifts
If you wish to honor the memory of a family member or friend by making a contribution to Hillsdale College, please write us at the above address and include the name of the individual you are honoring. Please state the designation of the gift, if you so wish.
The Office of Advancement is responsible for raising private funds for all aspects of Crown College so that its vital mission of training men and women to serve Christ can continue and be enlarged.
