Students desiring to find either part- or full-time employment while attending The Crown College of the Bible can find assistance through the Student Employment Office.
Crown Student Employment
On-campus employment can be obtained through the work scholarship program. The Crown Student Employment Scholarship is awarded to dormitory applicants who have a distinct financial need. Students may work from 10 to 20 hours per week depending on their qualifications and job assignment. Students are paid on a minimum-wage basis and their earnings are applied directly to their tuition account. While the amount earned from the work scholarship program will not pay a student’s entire school bill, it is a great asset for those who qualify.
Another great benefit of this program is that student employees have the opportunity to work for and with the staff of Temple Baptist Church, Temple Baptist Academy, and The Crown College of the Bible. Many opportunities arise for student employees to receive invaluable training and experience outside the classroom that will help prepare them for future service in Christian ministry.

Local employment
Many opportunities in off-campus employment are available in the greater Knoxville area. To assist our students in finding employment, a Job Fair is held on campus at the beginning of the fall semester each year. Many local businesses have employed our students in the past and are eager to do so again. The Job Fair presents an excellent opportunity for students and employers to meet.
Local businesses call the Student Employment Office throughout the semester to post job openings. Positions often become available on a daily basis, ranging from fast food, office work, and daycare to factory positions. Local residents frequently call to recruit students for temporary jobs, as well. Listings of employment opportunities are constantly being updated and posted.
