Student records policy

The Crown College of the Bible maintains appropriate educational records for each student and assures the confidentiality of such records in compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) of 1974.

Student records are confidential and will be released to persons outside the college only upon the written request of the student.

Items considered directory-type information are generally considered open to public inquiry. The Office of the Registrar maintains a list of those facts considered directory-type information. 

How To Request a Transcript

Federal law requires that a student request the release of his transcript in writing. No exceptions can be made. Request forms are available at the link above or in the Registrar's Office. You may mail the completed and signed request form to:

You may also fax the request form to 865.938-8188. We are sorry, but e-mail requests cannot be accepted. A transcript request cannot be processed if there is a financial hold on your account. Please contact the Finance Office directly for information concerning your account.

The fee for an official transcript is $10. We accept cash, debit/credit card, or a personal check made payable to The Crown College of the Bible. Debit/credit card payments must be made through the Finance Office. A separate transcript request must be completed for each official transcript mailed or delivered to a different recipient.

A student may request a copy of their unofficial transcript at no charge. Student copies are not official and will not bear the college seal or the signature of the college registrar. Student copies must also be requested in writing.

Processing of Transcript Requests

If the request is received on or before the last Thursday in July - please allow one week for processing (standard).
If received after the last Thursday in July - please allow two weeks for processing.

No transcript will be issued until a student's financial obligations to the College are fully current and the transcript fee has been paid. After 30 days, a transcript request will expire and must be re-submitted.

Enrollment Verification

Enrollment verification can be obtained from the Office of the Registrar. You may call 865.938.8186, come to the office in person or e-mail registrar@thecrowncollege.com to request enrollment verification. Please supply the student name, social security number, semester(s) needed for verification and the address or fax number to which we should send the verification. If applicable, please also reference any policy information we may need to include as identification to your insurance company. We will process your request as quickly as possible; however, we ask that you provide 48 hours notice.

Veterans' Benefits

Students eligible to receive educational benefits through the VA should visit the Veterans’ Benefits page and make an appointment with the Registrar. You may call at 865.938.8186 or email registrar@thecrowncollege.com with questions.
