The Main Campus
The Lee Roberson Christian Heritage Center
The main campus is built around the Christian Heritage Center, dedicated to commemorating the life and ministry of Dr. Lee Roberson. Students at Crown literally walk among the giants of the Christian faith daily. Within the 30,000 square feet of hallways, alcoves, and passages are vivid reminders of lives used for the glory of Christ. Detailed exhibits enlighten students to the lives and ministries of men and women who served Christ through faithfully preaching and teaching the Bible, pioneering in world evangelism, composing and writing Christ-honoring music, and many other avenues of labor. Special honor is given to the lives and work of those gave their lives for the cause of Christ.
The Rotunda
At the center of the main campus is the Rotunda, with a beautiful fountain complete with skylight. Its neoclassical architecture makes it the perfect setting for student gatherings between classes, luncheons, recitals, and almost any social event.
Classrooms
There are a variety of instructional spaces within the main campus. Small classrooms allow elementary and secondary education students to experience the feel of an actual schoolroom, while lecture halls seating several hundred each accommodate large survey classes. Classrooms are bright, clean, and equipped with access to a filtered wireless campus network.
The Keith Kiser Memorial Library
Just off the rotunda at the center of the main campus is the Kiser Memorial Library, named in honor of Keith Kiser, member of the original faculty and beloved Bible instructor, who was greatly used of God in the lives of early students. Phase 1 of the Kiser Library is well underway, with students still able to utilize the library’s resources during renovation. When fully developed, the library will offer in excess of 100,000 books and resources to students in a variety of formats.
The Crown Bookshop and Cafe
The 3,500 square-foot campus bookstore is the center of social life on campus. A Starbucks café serves your favorite specialty coffee, breakfast pastries, and other treats. The campus bookshop stocks textbooks, music, best-selling books and other recommended reading material, as well as personal and gift items.
The Great Hall
The largest dining space under one roof in East Tennessee region (55,000 square feet) contains a state-of-the-art commercial kitchen, and can accommodate well over 2,500 people at a single sitting. Many large assemblies, receptions, and meetings are held in this venue each year.
The Crown Music Conservatory
Separated from the main campus building by a raised garden is the Conservatory. Its 10,000 square feet of floor space is divided into a main assembly area surrounded by individual and group studios, as well as practice and composing labs.
