Master of Divinity
Pastoral Theology Concentration
The Master of Divinity with a concentration in Pastoral Theology provides in-depth training to prepare students effectiveness in preaching and teaching the Bible and performing pastoral duties in the local church. Students also receive comprehensive instruction in theology and biblical studies to enable them to teach the Bible on a post-secondary level.
The Master of Divinity (M.Div.) degree (95 hours) provides students with a thorough theological education in preparation for a broad range of ministry to the Lord Jesus Christ. Both intensive theological studies and practical ministry studies are included in this program. The M.Div. builds upon the Master of Biblical Studies degree, including an additional 35 hours of course work. The M.Div. is recommended for those students who will be engaged in ministry which is largely comprised of teaching and preaching the Word of God.
Advanced Standing for Bible College Graduates
Advanced standing may be applicable to students who have received their undergraduate degree from a Bible college or from a Christian liberal arts college. Students may earn up to 15 hours of advanced standing. Transcripts will be reviewed individually, and advanced standing will be given to the student by the Academic Dean.
