Several hundred young people were on campus April 2-3, 2015, for our Spring College Days.  Students traveled from as far as Maine, Colorado, and Texas.  Many guests took advantage of our “Early Bird Special” and came in for the Wednesday evening service of Temple Baptist Church and were able to enjoy a day in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg with special discounted tickets to the Smokies Aquarium and WonderWorks on Thursday.

College Days registration began on Thursday, April 2, at 3:00 p.m. followed by a get-acquainted time in the Crown Bookshop and Café.  At 4:00 p.m. the college Founder and President, Dr. Clarence Sexton, hosted an opening rally with a number of special presentations, followed by a tour of our Christian Heritage Center and our School of Trades & Technology.  A beautiful dinner of fried chicken, mashed potatoes and all the fixin’s were provided to our guests.  Faculty members and deans from each school had a separate question and answer session following dinner.  We concluded the evening at Max Air Trampoline Park where our guests enjoyed a great “flight time” and made new friends.

On Friday, students had the opportunity to visit a number of morning classes, hear Pastor Sexton preach in the Crown College chapel, tour our church campus and dorm facilities, enjoy an  all-American cheeseburger lunch in our dining hall, and join the Crown College choir for a special rehearsal.  Friday evening we ventured to Mount Moriah Christian Camp located 4 miles from Crown College for our “Outdoor Adventure Night.”  Crown College faculty, staff, students, and College Days guests enjoyed an old fashion BBQ, followed by a night of volleyball, soccer, softball, human foosball, basketball, zip-lining, hiking, hayrides, and a wonderful time of fellowship.
