The opening week of December was an exciting one for members of the Crown College Choir.  On Sunday evening, November 30 the choir offered a beautiful Christmas presentation at the Temple Baptist Church to begin the Christmas season.  This meeting was followed by an open house at The Crown College.  More than 40,000 Christmas lights were on display as the choir sang carols in the Rotunda of the Christian Heritage Center.  It was a very special night for both the church family and friends from the community.

On Thursday evening the Crown Choir conducted a concert hosted by Pastor Philip Rizzo in Hoboken, New Jersey.  On Friday evening Crown Alumni Pastor Josh Byrd and his people hosted a concert in Brooklyn, New York.  In addition to the beautiful music, Pastor Sexton brought a gospel message in each meeting.  Many precious souls professed faith in Christ and believers were encouraged.  The choir enjoyed fellowship with pastors and alumni from around the region.

God is at work in this needy part of the world and we are praying that the Lord would send many more laborers into the harvest.  The Crown College choir is planning a new recording and several special events for the spring semester.  For more information call Dr. John Thompson at 1.877.MY CROWN.
