Ladies Crusaders Names as NCCAA Scholar Team
Congratulations to The Crown College of the Bible Lady Crusaders Volleyball Team for being selected as a NCCAA's 2009-2010 Scholar Team. The NCCAA has established the Scholar Team Award to honor NCCAA athletic teams that demonstrate academic success in the classroom, emphasize the importance of academics within our national organization, and to promote individual student athlete scholarship on the team. All teams must have a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.40 on a 4.00 scale during the entire current academic year, include both semesters, and all quarters. The 2009-2010 women’s volleyball team achieved this award this season and have been honored in a chapel service for it. Each lady on the team was given a certificate to show their accomplishment. Once again, we congratulate our Lady Crusaders on their hard work this season.
