2010 Royal Crusader Invitational - November 18-20

We look forward to hosting this year’s Royal Crusader Invitational. We expect the three days filled with 15 games to provide plenty of great competition and fellowship. We would like to welcome to our campus the teams that are participating in this year invitational.

AWARDS

Team awards for tournament champion, runner-up, and consolation champion. All-tournament selections will be made from each team.

BENCH LOCATION

The team listed second in the schedule of events will be the home team and will use the bench to the right of the scorer’s table (nearest the locker rooms). Please leave your bench area clean for the next game.

CAMPUS TOUR

We have arranged for a representative from the Office of Admissions to conduct a tour of the Christian Heritage Center after the banquet on Friday. Please let us know upon your arrival if any of your party would like to see the dormitories and other facilities while attending the tournament.

CROWN COLLEGE INFORMATION

Each participant will be given a campus tour on Friday following the banquet. If you have young people that would like to attend college classes on Friday before chapel, we would be happy to accommodate them. Our administration and admissions personnel are also available for questions. The Crown College of the Bible dormitory tours are available by reservation only. We will be happy to schedule any special arrangements for your young people.

HOSPITALITY ROOM

A hospitality room will be provided for pastors, coaches, officials, and school administrators. It will be available throughout the tournament.

LOCATION

All games will be played in the gymnasium on the campus of Temple Baptist Church.

LODGING

Each school is responsible for their own accommodations. A list of area lodging is available online at www.thecrowncollege.com/area_hotels/. Several hotels give The Crown College of the Bible guests a discounted rate.

MEALS

We are honored to host all tournament participants for lunch on Friday at the tournament banquet. Additional meals may be purchased at The Crown College of the Bible dining hall. The meal schedule is as follows:

Thursday supper, 5:00 – 6:00 p.m.
Friday supper, 5:00 – 6:00 p.m.

OFFICIAL BOOK

The scheduled home team will be responsible for the official book unless other arrangements are made prior to the tournament.

PARKING

Spectator parking is available in the front and rear of the gymnasium. Buses should be parked on the parking lot in the front of the church auditorium.

PRACTICE BALLS

Basketballs will be provided for pre-game and half-time warm-ups.

WARM-UP

There will be a minimum 8-minute warm-up before each game. Games will not begin before the scheduled time. Please have your scorebook ready at least 10 minutes before scheduled game time. Pre-game activities will include prayer and the introduction of starting line-ups.

WATER COOLERS

Water and cups will be provided at each bench. We will be pleased to fill water bottles at the concession stand, but we will not be able to fill bottles with ice.
