School of Education
The School of Education equips students to serve Christ as educators whether it be in traditional classrooms, in home schooling, as tutors, or in many other unique learning environments.
This 4-year program focuses on teaching as a ministry and not just as a profession. It will equip you with the knowledge and skill required to effectively serve Christ whether it be in a traditional classroom setting, in a home school or tutoring environment, at home or anywhere in the world.
The School of Education equips students to…
- Articulate the Scriptural mandate for Christ-centered, biblically based education.
- Utilize pedagogically sound practices in any educational setting with the proper application of assessment and educational technology.
- Broaden critical thinking and communication skills in order to adapt to various learning environments.
- Adapt curriculum to meet the needs of diverse learners using appropriate teaching methods.
- Employ effective classroom management techniques to foster a healthy and positive learning environment.
- Demonstrate Christ-like character and professional disposition.
- Apply knowledge, skills, and methodology through a rigorous teaching internship in a structured, established environment.
